Classic Barbell is a gym in Washington, DC that focuses on strength building activities. We are community focused on setting goals, working hard and place for all who have the desire to get better.

STRENGTH FOR ALL

Every day, we help people of all ages and capabilities build stronger, more useful bodies through a simple, straightforward, systematic approach to barbell training.

We're not into distracting you with machines or giving you a bunch of different things to do we're into sharing how simple and effective our program is. We simply teach our lifters how to move, coach them, and add a little bit of weight each session, getting stronger over time. â€‹

Intro to Barbell Clinic

In this private, 1-hour session, you’ll learn everything you need to know to begin strength training effectively, including in-depth instruction on the basic barbell exercises, programming strategies, proper nutrition, gym etiquette, safety and more.

Private Training

Small group training is an effective, affordable and fun way to build strength and community. Capped at 4 people, members train alongside of each other while being coached and supported through their individualized program.

Virtual Barbell

Our virtual strength programs deliver customized, weekly workout programming, video form checks, and regular communication with our coaching staff through a convenient app.
